Activities:  Students to take notes, participate in discussion and practice problems, then complete the Ch. 13 Section 1 Check your Understanding on p. 321  in book.  Complete the 2 Thinking Critically questions, skip the computing in the business world, and Problem 13-1 on corresponding page in workbook.  Due at the first of class Tuesday.

Tuesday-

Topics:  Employer’s Payroll Taxes

Activities:  Students to take notes, participate in discussion and practice problems, then complete the Ch. 13 Section 2 Check your Understanding on p. 326  in book.  Complete the 2 Thinking Critically questions, skip the communicating accounting, and Problems 13-2 and 13-3 on corresponding page in workbook.  Due at the first of class Wednesday.

Wednesday-

Topics:  Tax Liability Payments and Tax Reports

Activities:  Students to take notes, participate in discussion and practice problems, then complete the Ch. 13 Section 3 Check your Understanding on p. 337  in book.  Complete the 2 Thinking Critically questions, skip the analyzing accounting, and Problems 13-4 and 13-5 on corresponding page in workbook.  Due at the first of class Thursday.

Topics:  Reinforcement of chapter material

Activities:  Students to work on assigned problems using their notes, book and workbook.  Completed problems will be due Tuesday, May 9 at the first of class.

Activities: Students will participate in Ch. 12 Review game.  Winning team will receive 5 bonus points towards their test grade.

Tuesday-

Activities:  Ch. 12 Test-  Payroll Accounting

Wednesday-

Topics:  Ch. 12 Test results

Activities:  Students will receive back their graded Ch. 12 tests.  Time to go over any questions, problems. Students will then correct questions they missed on test by writing out full question and full correct answer on notebook paper.  Staple to back of test and turn in for a daily grade when complete.

Thursday-

Testing- US History EOC

Friday-

Topics:  Students will become familiar with new vocabulary

Activities: Students to define vocabulary for Ch. 13 using book.

Activities:  Students will receive the progress report for the 3rd nine weeks.  Time will be given for makeup work.  If students gets progress report signed and brings back by Tuesday, March 21, they will receive a 100 in the gradebook.
