Activities:  Students to take notes, participate in practice problems, then complete the Ch. 5 Section 1 Check your understanding on p. 103 in textbook and corresponding page(s) in workbook.  Complete the 2 Thinking Critically questions, skip the communicating accounting, and complete problem 5-1.  If don’t finish in class, for homework.

Topics:  Applying the rules of debit and credit to revenue, expense, and owner’s equity transactions

Activities:  Students to take notes, participate in practice problems, then complete the Ch. 5 Section 2 Check your understanding on p. 109 in book and corresponding pages in workbook.  Complete the 2 Thinking Critically questions, skip the analyzing accounting, and do problem 5-2.  Due by the end of class Wednesday.

Topics:  Review of Ch. 5 material

Activities:  Students to complete the worksheets for Ch. 5 using their notes and book.  If don’t finish in class, for homework.  Due by the first of class Monday.
