Tuesday-

SAT boot camp.  Students to bring something to work on or read.

Wednesday-Friday

Topics:  Review of Ch. 3 material.

Activities:  Will discuss transactions from problem 3-3.  Students will then complete assigned pages out of workbook for  Ch. 3 worksheets.  Will be due by the first of class Monday, September 29, 2014.

Activities:  students are to complete the Ch. 2 review sheets (pp. 36-41 in workbook) using their notes and textbook. If don’t finish in class, for homework.

Objective:  Test review

Activities:  Ch. 2 worksheets due.  Exchange and grade.  Students will then participate in Ch. 2 Test review by playing Jeopardy.

Discuss class procedures, acceptable use policies, school supplies, etc.

Homework:  Get classroom procedures signed by parent and parent subscribed to Accounting I blog by Friday, August  29 (Daily grade). Also, need to try and have school supplies by Tuesday, Sept. 2.

Wednesday-

Test userids/passwords; define the vocabulary for Ch 2 and turn in for a daily grade

Welcome to Accounting I

Welcome to Accounting I!  In this class, students will be introduced to basic accounting concepts, the accounting cycle, how to prepare financial statements for a sole proprietorship, cash control and banking activities, and the accounting cycle for a merchandising business.

workbook (will be supplied)
